0800-JUNK-RUN has developed a strategic alliance with the Auckland City Mission; any reusable items are either donated or recycled. At present, up to 60% of what is picked up is being recycled or reused. “Our goal has always been to keep things out of the land fill, so we are always on the lookout for alliances that will help us achieve the 75% target we have set.”
